South Florida Regional Transportation Authority’s (SFRTA) procurement department recently received the Award of Excellence in Public Procurement from the Florida Association of Public Purchasing Officers (FAPPO).
The award recognizes SFRTA’s source selection, professional development, process improvement methods, automation and e-commerce.
FAPPO comprises purchasing officers from municipal, county and state agencies, special districts, school boards, public universities, public utilities and sheriff’s offices.
