During the next 45 days, St. Louis’ Metro will conduct its annual system-wide onboard survey of light-rail and bus riders.

This year, the agency will split the survey into two parts. Through May 15, Metro will conduct a travel survey to gather information on trip-specific data, such as origin, destination, travel purpose, transfer activity and demographics. From May 15 to June 1, the agency will conduct a customer satisfaction survey to gather information on riders’ attitude and behavior/motivation.

The Missouri University of Science and Technology and DOTec Engineering will conduct the surveys on trains and buses.
