Last week, Dallas Area Rapid Transit announced the House’s Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users bill includes funds for the agency’s proposed Carrollton station.

DART would receive $2 million in to fund the station’s design and construction costs.

Scheduled to open in late 2010, the downtown Carrollton Station is part of the 48-mile Northwest-Southeast Corridor expansion.
