Transportation Marketing & Communications Association (TMCA) is accepting entries for the 2003 Tranny Communications Awards.
In its 51st year, the awards recognize North American transportation companies involved in the freight- and passenger-rail industries that developed creative, strategic marketing or communications programs in nine categories.
"It's an opportunity for a company to showcase its best marketing and communications work, receive recognition from peers and benchmark work against others in the industry," said Cyndi Darlington, Amtrak assistant vice president of sales and marketing, and award chair, in a prepared statement.
TMCA plans to present awards June 17 at its annual conference and educational forum in Hilton Head Island, S.C.
Entries should include a work blueprint describing goals, tactics and measurable success, and a work sample. Entries are due March 7.
For more information, call TMCA at 952-442-5638 or visit its Web site, www.TMCAtoday.org.
