Association of American Railroads' Transportation Technology Center Inc. (TTCI) plans to hold a commemorative celebration, emergency-responder demonstrations and a tour June 27 at 10 a.m. (MDT) to mark the center's May designation as the site where Colorado plans to train state emergency responders to deal with terrorist acts.

"Since [Sept. 11], our emergency training programs have been fast-forwarded to accommodate our nation's emergency responders in their response to terrorist events," said TTCI Director Jeff Davis in a prepared statement, adding that more than 150 responders have been trained through TTCI's domestic preparedness programs post-Sept. 11.
