Ten-year rail trends report available from AAR

Association of American Railroads Jan. 31 made available the 18th annual edition of its Railroad Ten-Year Trends report, which references data between 1991 and 2000.
Railroad Ten-Year Trends provides tables and graphs designed to present an economic overview of U.S. freight rails, including Class Is’ performance, traffic, financial statistics, employment, plant and equipment, and operations.
The report also includes selected information on regionals and short lines, Web sites of about 250 Canadian, Mexican and U.S. railroads, listings for all U.S. freight roads and profiles of rail-related organizations.
AAR members can obtain copies of the report for $50 (non-members, $100), plus $5 per order for shipping and handling.
