TexAmericas Center this week announced that its qualified sites program (QSP) was named a top certified site program in the Southeast by Expansion Solutions magazine.

Located in the Texarkana area, TexAmericas Center owns and operates a mixed-use industrial park with roughly 12,000 development ready acres of land, company officials said in a press release.

Through the QSP, the TexAmericas Center creates sites that are “shovel-ready” for commercial and industrial development, meeting strict criteria such as east of access to transportation infrastructure and utilities. Seven rail lines converge in the Texarkana region, and the park is host to a rail yard and over 30 miles of rail, providing transloading and rail car loading services to its tenants.

TexAmericas Center is also the authority having jurisdiction over its 12,000 acres, which streamlines the permitting process and allows new construction projects to become operational by up to a year.
