For the fourth-straight year, Union Pacific Railroad received Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. Inc.'s President's Award for Logistics Excellence, the automaker's top service award that recognizes a transportation provider's customer service, on-time performance and quality.

"It is an honor to be recognized as the top-performing rail-logistics partner by an organization with such high-quality standards," said John Kaiser, UP vice president and general manager-automotive, in a prepared statement.

Last year, Union Pacific moved more than 680,000 Toyota and Lexus vehicles originating from plants in Fremont, Calif.; Georgetown, Ky.; Princeton, Ind., Cambridge, Ontario; and ports in Long Beach, Calif., and Portland, Ore.
