Toyota honors NS' logistics performance

Toyota Logistics Services recently presented a 2009 President’s Award to Norfolk Southern Corp.
The award recognizes a railroad’s overall logistics performance, including customer service, on-time performance and service quality.
Last year, NS transported about 500,000 Toyotas, including vehicles originating from plants in Georgetown, Ky., and Lafayette and Princeton, Ind.
Since the President’s Award was established in 1996, NS has received it seven times.
