Tranny Awards laud transportation companies' marketing campaigns

Transportation Marketing & Communications Association (TMCA) June 18 announced winners of its Tranny Awards, which recognize North American transportation companies' communication and marketing efforts based on creativity and strategy. TMCA presented 19 awards of excellence and 53 awards of merit in nine categories at a June 3 banquet in Tucson, Ariz.


The winners (by category) are:


• Integrated Communications Program — Amtrak, CSX Transportation, Maryland Transit Admin./The Campbell Group and Houston's Metropolitan Transit Auth. (awards of excellence); and Chicago Transit Auth., Crowley Maritime Corp./Rowland Communications Worldwide, GATX Rail, MTA New York City Transit, PBB Global Logistics, Pinellas Suncoast Transit Auth., Rochester-Genessee Regional Transp. Auth. and St. John Port Auth. (awards of merit);
