Transportation Marketing & Communications Association (TMCA) recently named Ray Venturino president.
TMCA vice president since May 2002 and an association board member the past four years, Venturino serves as assistant vice president for shipping and logistics firm P&O Nedlloyd-North America.
TMCA president since July 1, Venturino will continue to serve in that capacity until July 1, 2004.
"My goal as president is to continue to grow membership while increasing value to TMCA members," he said in a prepared statement.
Founded in 1924, TMCA aims to provide its more than 200 members professional development, education and networking opportunities for marketing and communication workers. Members range from motor carriers, railroads, air carriers and steamship lines to technology firms, third-party logistics providers, port authorities and passenger-transit organizations.
