Tranz Rail names new CFO

Tranz Rail Holdings Ltd. April 26 named Wayne Collins chief financial officer to succeed Mark Bloomer, who recently resigned.
The New Zealand-based freight road expects Collins, a former investment banker, to begin serving in the position April 29.
Canadian National Railway Co. in February sold its 23.7 percent stake in Tranz Rail, which previously was owned by Wisconsin Central Transportation Corp.
