Triple Crown tops logistics magazine's service provider list

Triple Crown Services Co. recently was named the transportation industry's best rail/intermodal service provider by Logistics Management magazine — the seventh time in the past eight years the Norfolk Southern Corp. subsidiary has achieved the honor.
The magazine surveyed qualified buyers of logistics services to rate carriers' on-time performance (OTP), value, customer service, information technology, and equipment and operations. Logistics Management received more than 6,000 responses.
Triple Crown topped the OTP, value and customer service categories, and posted a high score for equipment and operations. The company provides bimodal, truckload transportation services, and manages more than 7,500 RoadRailer® trailers from terminals in the United States and Canada.
