Twin Cities & Western Railroad Co. (TCWR) July 31 named Comptroller Mark Wegner senior vice president and general manager of Minnesota Prairie Line. Inc., a 94-mile short-line subsidiary TCWR acquired earlier this year from Minnesota Valley Regional Railroad Authority.

Wegner, who joined TCWR in 1991 as accounting manager, has been serving as comptroller since 1993 — a responsibility he plans to continue along with his new duties.

The 229-mile short line also named Revenue Accounting Manager Craig Glaeser director of marketing and sales with responsibility for Minnesota Prairie Line; Car Accounting and Utilization Manager Lori Koelin, director of car accounting and utilization; Accounts Receivable/Payroll Clerk Holli Schafer, revenue accounting manager; and Accounts Payable Clerk Shauna Gruber, staff accountant.
