UP pegs Naro to head Mexican operations

Yesterday, Union Pacific Railroad named Bob Naro vice president of Mexico operations. Reporting to Executive Vice president of Operations Dennis Duffy, Naro will be responsible for border operations, Mexican railroad interchanges, capacity planning and various special projects.

Naro most recently served as assistant vice president of Mexico operations. He previously held various executive positions in transportation, customer service, risk management and strategic planning.

UP serves U.S./Mexico border gateways in El Paso, Eagle Pass, Laredo and Brownsville, Texas; Calexico, Calif.; and Nogales, Ariz.
