advertisement
Union Pacific Railroad April 5 won a Toyota President's Award for Logistics Excellence from Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. Inc. for the third consecutive year.
The award — Toyota's top service honor — is based on customer-service and on-time performance, and quality when carrying the automaker's Toyota and Lexus vehicles.
UP in 2001 moved more than 600,000 Toyota vehicles, originating from ports in Long Beach, Calif., and Portland, Ore., and plants in Fremont, Calif.; Georgetown, Ky.; Princeton, Ind.; and Cambridge, Ontario.
