UTA obtains public input on South Davis line

The Utah Transit Authority recently held an open house to discuss the proposed South Davis transit corridor.

The agency is preparing an environmental study for transit improvements between South Davis County and Salt Lake City. The general study area falls between the Wasatch Mountains to the east and Legacy Parkway and I-215 to the west.

UTA has proposed launching light-rail or streetcar service from Salt Lake City’s Central Business District to Centerville City, serving North Salt Lake, Woods Cross and Bountiful. The agency also might extend bus routes in the area.
