VAE Nortrak acquires majority stake in Mexican trackwork supplier DAMY

VAE Nortrak North America Inc. recently acquired a majority ownership in DAMY Cambios de Vía S.A. de C.V.
A wholly owned subsidiary of VAE GmbH of Austria, VAE Nortrak will name the combined operation Nortrak-DAMY. Located in Guadalajara, Mexico, DAMY produces specialty trackwork.
Nortrak has been working with DAMY in recent years. The acquisition enables Nortrak to serve a growing Mexican market, the company said.
