VIA Rail reaches 10th year in the Land of the Rising Sun

On March 25, VIA Rail Canada Inc. marked the 10th anniversary of its Tokyo, Japan, sales office.

VIA Rail established the office to promote its service to Japanese travelers. Now, Japanese riders represent one of the top three non-Canadian passenger sources for the railroad.

Last year, VIA Rail carried more than 44,000 Japanese passengers.
