Vermont Rail System in late summer named Brent Brewer general manager and Brion Muzzy, Fran Garrow and Doug Lamoureux, operations managers.
Brewer previously spent 20 years in various positions with 420-mile Bangor & Aroostook Railroad Co.
Meanwhile, Vice President of Operations Charles Bischoff retired Sept. 30 after 37 years with Vermont Railway, closely following the retirement of Vice President of Intermodal Don Saylor, who joined the company in 1976.
Vermont Railway is a jointly owned affiliation of four short lines: 128-mile Vermont Railway Inc., 50-mile Green Mountain Railroad Corp., 29-mile Clarendon & Pittsford Railroad Co. and 14-mile Washington County Railroad Corp.
