Vitality Products places ethanol plant feasibility study on hold
advertisement
Because of the credit market crunch and soft ethanol demand, Vitality Products Inc.’s Vitality Fuels division has temporarily suspended a feasibility study for a proposed ethanol plant in Whatcom County, Wash.
The study would have analyzed the proposed plant’s access to rail and roads, financing options, and availability of feedstock and utilities, among several criteria.
The company initially planned to complete the plant in spring 2011 pending the completion of the feasibility study and financing, which would take three to six months to obtain if market conditions are favorable, Vitality Products said.
