WMATA begins elevator work

Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) recently began rehabilitating elevators at its Dupont Circle and Wheaton Metrorail stations.

The street elevator at Dupont Circle Station and mezzanine platform elevator at Wheaton Station will be out of service for 16 weeks while workers replace mechanical parts and elevator-cab equipment.
