Among them: install overhead handles in 25 percent of rail cars; add more transit police officers throughout the rail and bus systems; install additional red platform edge lights in at least 10 stations; add 30 cars to meet service demand; develop and begin testing a new station management approach focused on customer service; and develop a comprehensive station signage program that includes replacing permanent directional signs at core stations.
