On Saturday, Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) officials will celebrate the grand opening of the New York Avenue-Florida Avenue-Gallaudet U Metrorail Station.
The facility is the first in-fill station opening within the 103-mile system. It was built between WMATA’s Union Station and Rhode Island Avenue-Brentwood Station.
