Wabtec Rail Ltd. recently obtained a $15 million contract from British rolling-stock lessor Angel Trains Ltd. to refurbish the interiors of 288 passenger cars.
To begin in the fourth quarter and conclude at 2007’s end, the work includes painting, installing closed-circuit television and passenger information systems, and replacing seats and flooring.
A Wabtec Corp. subsidiary, Wabtec Rail provides rolling-stock manufacturing, overhaul and repair services.
