J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. recently received Wal-Mart Stores Inc.’s Intermodal Carrier of the Year award for 2006.

Last year, the trucking and intermodal carrier also won the award, which recognizes a transportation service provider’s operational planning and execution, communication, and problem-solving and customer service performance.

J. B. Hunt provides intermodal, dedicated contract and truckload services to Wal-Mart throughout North America.
