Wal-Mart honors Schneider National as year's best intermodal, truckload carrier

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. recently named Schneider National Inc. "Truckload" and "Intermodal" carrier of the year for 2003.
The awards recognize carriers revenue growth, ease of doing business, communication, flexibility, customer service, and error follow-up and correction.
"[Schneider National's] continued commitment to quality and customer service ultimately allows us to better serve our customers with on-time deliveries and in-stock merchandise," said David Reiff, Wal-Mart senior vice president for transportation, in a prepared statement.
Schneider National offers TruckRail® and TruckRail Express™ premium trailer services with Burlington Northern Santa Fe and CSX Transportation, and an OptiModal® expedited container service with Union Pacific Railroad and Norfolk Southern Railway.
