Washington Group offers help for Gulf Coast reconstruction

Engineering, construction and management-solutions firm Washington Group International Inc. is offering its time and funds to help post-storm clean-up and reconstruction efforts on the U.S. Gulf Coast.
The company and Washington Group Foundation are making a combined donation of $500,000 to the American Red Cross, as well as matching all employee donations.
In addition, Washington Group will provide assessment, environmental remediation, engineering, procurement and construction services for damaged railways, water systems, roads, power plants, oil and gas facilities, industrial complexes and other infrastructure, company officials said in a prepared statement.
