The Intermodal Transportation Institute (ITI) at the University of Denver recently elected Kathryn Waters as a board member. Currently vice president of commuter rail and railroad management for Dallas Area Rapid Transit, Waters previously held various management positions at Maryland Mass Transit Administration.
She will chair the board’s external relations committee, which develops and oversees ITI’s external and internal publicity and media relations, and serve on the executive committee.
Waters currently is a member of various American Public Transportation Association, Transportation Research Board and Federal Railroad Administration committees.
ITI provides intermodal educational programs, and conducts research projects and outreach activities.
