Knox Kershaw Inc.: KYC 550 Yard Cleaner

Knox Kershaw Inc. Ballast Maintenance division offers the KYC 550 Yard Cleaner, which incorporates a folding waste conveyor to ease over-the-road transportation.

The large sealed and pressurized cab is legal transport height during road travel and has a comfortable operators seat, passenger seating for one or two, side mount AC, LED lighting, and easy-to-access maintenance points with localized automatic greasers to maximize lubrication intervals.

The yard cleaner can deposit waste into coupled car or swing its conveyor to load awaiting trucks or waste to the side. It utilizes a heavy-duty broom housing with stainless steel aprons, T-1 welded elevating buckets, a cleated vulcanized belt on both the conventional and the folding conveyor, and a 240-horsepower engine.
