Knox Kershaw Inc.: KBR 860 Ballast Regulator

Knox Kershaw Inc. Ballast Maintenance division offers the KBR 860 "Contractor's Special" Ballast Regulator, which features a 14-foot wheelbase and 10 foot, three-inch height. The longer wheelbase allows the machine to easily accommodate a more spacious cab with greater visibility, extra personnel seating, a side mount A/C, optional joystick controls and power shift transmission — all while maintaining an optimum length to facilitate loading and hauling to the work site, the company says.

The broom incorporates the Knox Knocker II broom elements, belt drive with heavy-duty drive motor, five-inch lift frame rollers and broom lining insulation. The 860 wing features heavy-duty 3/4-inch by six-inch grader blades and template door cylinders. The One Pass Transfer plow incorporates heavy-duty grader blades with blade locks, a heavy-duty skid and a lift frame mounting incorporating five-inch rollers.
