Emerson Industrial: Weatherproof floodlights

Emerson Industrial's Appleton Group has expanded the boundaries of technology, efficiency and performance to ensure your lights stays on, because failure is not an option.

The Nutsteel NT450 projection style floodlights illuminate large, defined areas in indoor or outdoor applications. The NT450 from Emerson Industrial Automation's Appleton Group provides a ballast housing and internal wiring strip for use with mercury vapor, metal halide or high pressure sodium lamps. Suitable for environments that contain moisture and/or areas where ignitable vapors, dust, moisture and corrosive atmospheres may be present, such as railroad yards, loading/unloading yards and oil and gas loading docks.

The NT450 comes assembled with high-power factor ballast, cable glands and suitable cable for connecting the floodlight to the ballast housing and terminal strip for cables entry and exit. It includes:


• mounting ring secured to the body with hinges and latches with
 captive wing nuts;


• side levers for controlling and securing vertical movement;


• terminal strip for internal connection; and


• high Power Factor Ballast 220 V, 60 Hz.
