AngelTrax: HDX Hybrid™ DVR

Video surveillance provider AngelTrax has released its the HDX Hybrid™ mobile digital video recorder (DVR). The unit is a compact four-channel mobile DVR that features AngelTrax's patented Hybrid Component™ Technology to create a durable, economical option for fleets of any size, company officials said in a press release.

With the flexibility of Hybrid Component Technology, upgrades and maintenance are made "easy and convenient," keeping fleet surveillance operating smoothly while staying updated with current technology, AngelTrax officials said.

Slightly more than two inches tall, the HDX Hybrid can be installed in virtually any vehicle, which makes it ideal for smaller vehicles with limited space such as passenger vans or cargo trucks, company officials said. The HDX Hybrid is built to withstand any environment and ships with 500GB of solid-state storage standard. The DVR's dedicated hard drive bay makes removing and swapping solid-state drives "quick and effortless," according to the company.

"With so many fleets utilizing smaller vehicles for different applications, we knew it was important to create a four channel DVR with the capabilities of the HDX Hybrid," said  AngelTrax President and Chief Executive Officer Richie Howard. "We've brought our Hybrid Component Technology to a smaller package due to customer demand for this kind of performance in all of their fleet vehicles, no matter the size."
