The NT450 from Emerson Industrial Automation's Appleton Group provides a ballast housing and internal wiring strip for use with mercury vapor, metal halide or high pressure sodium lamps. Suitable for environments that contain moisture and/or areas where ignitable vapors, dust, moisture and corrosive atmospheres may be present, such as railroad yards, loading/unloading yards and oil and gas loading docks.The NT450 comes assembled with high-power factor ballast, cable glands and suitable cable for connecting the floodlight to the ballast housing and terminal strip for cables entry and exit. It includes:
• mounting ring secured to the body with hinges and latches with captive wing nuts;
• side levers for controlling and securing vertical movement;
• terminal strip for internal connection; and
• high Power Factor Ballast 220 V, 60 Hz.
