L&W Industries: S&C solutions for freight, transit applications

L&W Industries LLC has a 40 years of experience designing, manufacturing and distributing products ranging from wayside signals, MLP's, flasher assemblies, houses to AAR hardware and wire for the rail signals and communications industry.

L&W has provided signaling solutions and enclosures for all classes of freight railroad and numerous transit applications. The company's S&C type enclosures have ranged in size from 4-by-4 feet to 10-by-30 feet with different features ranging from fire protection and alarm systems to bathroom facilities. Collaborating with customers, L&W’s objective is to maximize the value of its products to meet or exceed the customer’s specification, company officials said.

L&W moved into a new building late last year with acreage for future expansions to accommodate the growing demands of customers. Plant layouts were optimized for streamlining production and minimizing, new technologies were adopted that improved the safety environment of our employees and our community.
