Strato Inc.: AAR-approved knuckle

Strato Inc. recently announced that the Association of American Railroads Coupling System and Truck Casting Committee approved the Strato E50BE Knuckle to the AAR M-216 Knuckle Fatigue Test specification. This specification requires an average fatigue life of at least 600,000 cycles. The Strato E Knuckle is one of only a few on the market to meet this specification, the company says.

Additionally, the knucklehas received approval to all AAR requirements for material, foundry technical, quality assurance, and component standards. Strato’s optimum manufacturing processes ensure consistent fit and function, longer life and smooth operation.

Strato also offers a line of couplers and coupler assembly components, including the SBE60, E69 and the EF511.
