StratoMAX: Coupler Systems

Strato has launched a new, high-performance brand called StratoMAX as part of the company's mission to produce reliable coupler systems that support fleet durability and performance for longer, heavier trains. The coupler line is designed to outlast industry standards.

StratoMAX coupler systems include rigorously tested coupler bodies, knuckles and components. Strato continually tests its couplers and knuckles to the Association of American Railroads' (AAR) M-216 requirements.

The StratoMAX M-216-certified E-Knuckle exceeds the AAR requirement of 600,000 fatigue life cycles, averaging more than double the AAR fatigue life cycle requirement in recent laboratory tests.
