ENSCO offers a full range of vehicle/track testing services, including vehicle performance/acceptance testing, vehicle dynamics analysis, cab signaling system evaluations, wheel unloading tests and derailment investigations. ENSCO staff, equipment and experience provide data collection and analysis services to verify system specifications, demonstrate safe operations for the purposes of waiver and/or qualification approval, or conduct general investigations, the company says. Capabilities for testing and analysis include vibration/ride quality testing, wayside and onboard noise monitoring, wheel/rail force measuring, brake performance testing and wheel temperature testing. ENSCO says its staff routinely assess wheel/rail forces, cab signal systems, carbody/truck accelerations and vehicle component displacements to identify excessive and potentially hazardous motions and conditions.
