The brush-type kribber 16-3 provides cribbing ahead of adzing. When set to the desired cribbing depth, the machine will move down the track unattended. A hydraulic motor propels the unit while two double-flanged wheels hold it evenly on the mounted rail. Two mechanically driven brush wheels give uniform cribbing on both sides of each tie. The brushes are the same molded rubber used on other brooms.
