The Rail Lifter 20-1 is designed for use in tie gangs for installing or removing tie plates. It may be operated by one person with or without a helper, depending on the desired production rate. Pneumatic tires and a center-mounted lift point allow the machine to be lifted for setting off track. Towing eyes on front and rear of the machine allow it to be towed from either end.
