Modern Track Machinery hydraulic tamping units, Models BLH-10, BLH-10A and BLH-20, are single-operator tamping units that offer: maximum efficiency when working perpendicular to the rail, homogeneous and symmetrical tamping, and good visibility of the area being tamped — all without operator fatigue, the company says. The BLH-10A and BLH-20 are both self-propelled units. The BLH-10A features a two-piece trolley design, tamping trolley and accessory trolley, while the BLH-20 is a single, self-contained unit.
