It is ideal for industrial facilities and short-line railroads that have various locations for car movements, the company says. It can be equipped as a multi-purpose vehicle such as a sweeper, snow plow, sand or salt spreader, plus track maintenance vehicle. The machine has four articulated, flanged track-guiding rollers for rail operation, powered by the unit's rubber-tired wheels. It can be transferred from one mode to the other via its lifting/turning device. Coupling and uncoupling can be handled from the cab by means of an automatic coupling rod.
