The joint test system was developed to enhance the current joint testing program employed by many railway companies. This system is designed to afford the flexibility to supplement some out of cycle rail inspection. The system consists of a fully computerized 24 channel (12 per side) dual rack; all data is stored on CD. It will test at speeds of 1-4 km and is available with strip chart or with full B-scan and pattern recognition.
