Progress Rail Services reconditions — and has available for direct sales, repair and return and unit exchange — type 390 and 391 locomotive draft gear/yoke assemblies. Also available are used draft gear/yoke assemblies. During the reconditioning process, all parts are inspected and worn areas are repaired. New, improved, energy-absorbing pads are included along with the plate when required, the company says. Gears are gagged and ready for installation. Reconditioned gears are covered by a one-year warranty and are available for shipment from stock. The company is an AAR M1003 certified and ISO 9002 registered supplier.
