Walker Engineering says its AIRSEP® closed crankcase system is a perfect choice for retrofitting locomotives or HTEL power diesel engines. Benefits include: minimized crankcase emissions, a 90-day service cycle, easy walkway accessible filter change out, and reduced chance of stack coking and stack fires, the company says, adding that this is even more important for engines equipped with DOC equipment. AIRSEP systems are now available for EMD, CAT 3500 series engines, Cummins QSK60, QSK78, as well as the upcoming QSK95 engines. Special pricing for fleet retrofit programs are available for a limited time, call for details.
