The EMD systems approach to product design, development, testing, manufacturing, and packaging is designed to ensure that its parts provide dependable service. They meet tough applications — from extreme temperatures and altitudes to heavy loading and load cycling, the company says. Advanced manufacturing techniques are used, such as: automated assembly and torque equipment, electronic profile and contour verification, and high-energy laser hardening. This methodology and the creative thinking that goes into the original product design cannot be reverse engineered, the company says.
