The company says its new solid state generator is designed to use electronic timing circuits to generate accurate switching circuits at the designated rate, thereby eliminating the need to calibrate and maintain the mechanical components. Because the rate is electronic, it is extremely precise and reliable, the company says. The SSCG provides three pairs of output switches; each pair corresponds to the three most common code rates; 75, 120 and 180 cpm. The pair is designated as one front and one heel making retrofitting easy.
