TrinityRail's extensive product line of covered hopper cars includes a 3,230-cubic-foot pressure differential car optimized to transport cement and other free flowing dry bulk commodities. The car features round side construction to promote better loading and unloading efficiencies, and allow for maximum use of available cubic capacity. Open barrel construction facilitates product loading and improves fill density while promoting easier cleaning and inspection, the company says, adding that a closed-loop unloading system maintains product purity.
