Strato says its 90-degree truck-mounted brake hose assembly with swivel flanges makes it easier for mechanics to hook-up air brakes to the brake cylinder. Strato designed this specific type of truck mounted hose assembly after its research revealed an increasing number of "tight fit" conditions for connecting the truck-mounted brake to the brake cylinder. The truck mounted hose assemblies meet AAR M-618 hose and AAR M-927 fitting specifications for rail cars and meet the AAR M-619 performance specification. The standard overall length is 30-3/16 inches and custom lengths are available.
