The IRECO AZEE lading tie anchor (part number 20635), made from drop-forged steel, is designed for use on single-sheath box cars. This anchor is applied to indentations in the side sheets and is flush with the car interior. The drain slots prevent water accumulation behind the anchor, which assists in reducing rust contamination in high-moisture commodities service like pulp. Part number 20635 accepts 1-1/4-inch standard steel strapping.
